General Inspection
Turkish bolt manufacturer adopts the Gi-360T inspection system.
General Inspection has announced that a Turkish bolt manufacturing company has adopted its Gi-360T high-speed vision inspection system. With the new system, the manufacturer is hoping to improve its quality control processes, affirming its dedication to precision and reliability in production.
The stand-out feature of the inspection system is its dual-purpose vibratory feeder system. This system handles parts with and without heads to reduce changeover times and eliminate the need for multiple machines.
Additionally, the Gi-360T offers an on-track vision station with a high-resolution camera and custom LED illumination for detailed vision inspection.
Key features of the Gi-360T system:
- Includes four laser beams and eight detectors with 360-degree laser gauging.
- Provides dimensional analysis and precise measurements of every angle.
- Operates on Windows 11 providing a user-friendly interface.
- Features an integrated velocity gauge providing accurate length measurements.
- The system’s machine rail-mounted setup provides a versatile two-position bowl configuration with enhanced operational flexibility.
In addition, the inspection system offers a Super Eddy-Current Station which utilises advanced digital eddy-current technology that ensures objects have completed the heat treatment process. The Axial View Station features speciality optics and a smart motor-controlled dial that completes the high-speed inspection of parts for small head cracks, without any rotation required.
