Tri-Tech 3D partners imes-icore.
Following the duo’s previous collaborative dental project, Tri-Tech 3D has announced its new partnership with imes-icore. Tri-Tech 3D has become an official distributor of imes-icore products in the UK, with the company supplying the dental metal 3D specialist's CORiTEC AM technology, which is compatible with Cobalt-Chrome and medical-grade titanium dental alloys.
Through this partnership, Tri-Tech 3D expands its dental AM solutions offering. The company already has established expertise with polymer technologies and applications including crown and bridge, orthodontics, and implantology.
“As digital dentistry becomes more widespread to improve patient outcomes, we’re working with dentists and technicians to adopt AM efficiently,” said Colin Cater, Sales Manager at Tri-Tech 3D. “As well as supplying the machines, we’ll work with imes-icore to provide hands-on support that covers everything from installation and setup to software operation and part cleaning. Offering this turnkey service is important for helping dental labs embrace AM, whether it’s supplementing or replacing traditional processes.”
The CORiTEC AM100 produces end-use parts including bridges, copings, crowns, and frameworks. While the CORiTEC AMpure provides a two-in-one unpackaging and sieving station which has an integrated connection for vacuum part cleaning. Throughout the cleaning process, the solution collects excess powder which is stored in an overflow cartridge for future reuse.
