SHINING 3D's accuracy laboratory
SHINING 3D has established its new accuracy laboratory in Hangzhou, China. The new facility has already received ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certification from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS).
Key information:
- SHINING 3D has opened its new accuracy laboratory.
- Located in Hangzhou, China, the facility has already received ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certification.
- The accuracy laboratory features a host of new calibration instruments.
According to the 3D scanning and printing solution provider, the new laboratory should provide reliable quality assurance for enterprise, industry, and customer product research, testing, and manufacturing. The ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certification will help SHINING 3D reach its aspirations as the accreditation is an internationally recognised quality management standard.
To receive the certification, the laboratory would have passed testing and calibration requirements, as well as personnel proficiency, testing and calibration methods, traceability of measurements, and reporting of results.
“For nearly 20 years, SHINING 3D has been committed to the research and application of high-accuracy 3D software and hardware and is committed to promoting the popularisation and application of high-accuracy 3D technology,” said Li Tao, SHINING 3D Chairman and CEO. “Today, more and more users are using 3D technology to quickly obtain high-fidelity, high-accuracy models, providing real, accurate, and complete object sizes and shapes, widely used in industries such as automotive, aerospace, energy, machinery, and moulds.”
The SHINING 3D accuracy laboratory is equipped with a large range of calibration instruments, including:
- 2D image measurement instruments.
- 3D coordinate measuring machines.
- Laser interferometers.
- Multi-specification standard measuring balls.
- Optical 3D scanning measuring calibration devices.
Additionally, the facility also provides a constant temperature and humidity testing environment, allowing it to obtain stable and reliable measurement results.
The calibration services that the new SHINING 3D laboratory offers are based on the Chinese National Metrology Technical Specification JJF 1951-2021 and the international standard VDI/VDE 2634 Part 3, published by the German Engineering Association. In addition, the 3D scanning and printing solution provider’s new laboratory can issue accuracy reports with the CNAS standard seal, which is recognised in more than 100 countries and regions worldwide.
