Revopoint unveils its metrology-grade photogrammetric system which consists of the MIRACO Plus 3D Scanner with a photogrammetric metrology kit. The solution aims to provide high-accuracy 3D measurements for a variety of objects.

The MIRACO Plus 3D scanner retains the benefits of the MIRACO series and includes photogrammetric metrology capabilities. By utilising a global coordinate calculation, point cloud scanning, and the photogrammetric system, large objects like automobiles, aircraft, ship parts, and machinery can be captured with metrology-grade accuracy.

Key features of the MIRACO Plus:

  • Provides photogrammetric length accuracy of up to 0.02mm + 0.05mm x L (m).
  • The solution uses hybrid photogrammetry to provide accuracy and comprehensive surface coverage even in complex measurement scenarios.
  • The solution includes a high-precision calibration board, improving accuracy levels by more than 20%, with a single-frame accuracy increase to 0.04mm.
  • Boosts scanning speed by up to 20 fps, making it 33% faster.
  • Features a lightweight, portable design and metrology-grade carbon fibre scale bars and coded targets.
  • Results can be transferred to PCs using either Wi-Fi or a USB.
  • Users can also use the new optical zoom function (1.5x and 2x) to enhance surface detail clarity.
