INSPHERE
INSPHERE's ORA with a laser solution.
Since the launch of its ORA robot control software platform, INSPHERE has been continually developing the solution to expand its capabilities. Originally designed with the IONA solution, which collects metrology-grade positional data in robot cells, ORA takes raw measurement data and provides precise, actionable insights for engineers.
The insights provided by ORA make the application of remote, in-process robot cell adjustments that overall improve production accuracy and efficiency levels. As a result, this solution can help users save time and money, and reduce waste. Additionally, when paired with control software, live positional data can correct variations in part location, cell setup, or inherent errors seen in automated systems.
Key benefits of the ORA software solution:
- Compatibility: ORA is flexible, adaptable, and can work with a variety of robot brands and sensing systems. This makes it highly likely that a company’s pre-existing robot measurement system will be compatible with ORA.
- Flexibility: Where laser trackers and other robot sensing tools are present, the ORA software can bring robot cell improvements without having to upgrade existing systems.
- Ease of integration: Utilising native programming languages, the ORA platform boasts a “pain-free installation” design and is compatible with major robot OEMs.
- Multi-functional capabilities: Accessible with an API, ORA has a library of standard functions including robot path verification, tool and base calibration, automated fixture alignment, and iterative TCP correction.
