G&H acquires Phoenix Optical Technologies Ltd.
Gooch & Housego (G&H) has acquired Phoenix Optical Technologies Ltd (Phoenix). Through the acquisition, the advanced photonics solutions provider hopes to strengthen its aerospace and defence capabilities while expanding its position in the UK and European markets.
Phoenix specialises in precision optics manufacturing and has extensive knowledge of prisms, domes, specialist machining, and Simple Point Diamond Turning (SPDT) processes. The Wales-based company will improve G&H’s Optical Systems division, enhancing the company’s cutting-edge optical solutions within the aerospace, defence, industrial, and life sciences sectors.
