The Digital Metrology Standards Consortium (DMSC) has announced its agenda for the IMTS trade show in Chicago this year. From 9-14 September, attendees can visit the DMSC at booth 135001. Alternatively, on the 10th of September, the DMSC will host an in-person meeting in a private conference room with appetisers and refreshments.
During the meeting, Curtis Brown, the President of the DMSC, will brief attendees on the “State of the DMSC” and provide a status update on current projects (MBC 1.0 and QIF 4.0). There will also be an introductory preview of the QIF Training/Certification effort. Members, potential members, and anyone interested in QIF are welcome at the in-person event.
About DMSC
The DMSC is a non-profit, member-funded organisation that aims to innovate interoperability standards and quality data frameworks within the manufacturing sector of digital metrology. For example, the Dimensional Measuring Interface Standard (DMIS) and Quality Information Framework (QIF) are two standards which the consortium provides support to and helps develop.
