Creaform, an AMETEK business, has upgraded the specifications of its HandySCAN 3D|Max Series. The automated and portable 3D measurement solutions provider has brought improvements to volumetric accuracy for large parts, enhanced measurement feedback, and software upgrades, especially regarding hardware performance.
With the new updates, the HandySCAN 3D|Max family can offer accredited volumetric accuracy of up to 0.075mm + 0.010mm/m. This is a minimum increase of 30% in accuracy relating to a 5m part. There are also improvements to quality assurance with the addition of the new target acquisition mode, better target quality indicators, and an added target deviation table.
“With the HandySCAN 3D|MAX Series, Creaform continues to lead the way in portable, high-precision 3D scanning,” said Olivier Plamondon, Product Manager at Creaform. “There’s simply no other product on the market that offers such a high level of accuracy and volumetric precision for large parts.”
