Comet Yxlon is set to exhibit at Formnext in Frankfurt, Germany. The industrial X-ray and CT scanning specialist will showcase its FF35 CT scanning tool. Designed to inspect components of varying sizes with a high level of precision, the FF35 claims to detect the smallest inner details.

In additive manufacturing, the process of producing complex shapes and products layer-by-layer can cause complications in the quality inspection process. FF35 helps the user scan intricate geometries of additively manufactured parts for defects like cracks and porosities.
