ASPEED Technology, with its subsidiary Cupola360, will work with Schneider Electric and Millitronic to develop an “industry-first” smart panoramic visual remote management solution. The new platform is designed to be used in data centres and will combine Cupola360’s panoramic cameras and visual artificial intelligence (AI) platform with Schneider Electric’s data centre gateways and sensors. Additionally, the management solution will also utilise Millitronic’s wireless infrastructure integration for enhanced remote management and security.
By leveraging the Cupola360’s on-chip stitching technology and compatibility for secondary development, the new solution aims to defeat the limitations of traditional on-site inspections in data centre environments. The solution also utilises Schneider’s Data Centre Expert and NetBotz series which will work to collect, organise, and disseminate vital information regarding the data centre.
"With the rapid development of digitisation and internet, as well as the emergence of challenges such as labour shortages and carbon reduction goals, data centre facilities are not only expanding in size but also becoming increasingly complex to manage,” said CJ Hsieh, COO of ASPEED Technology. “The collaboration between ASPEED, Schneider Electric, and Millitronic provides an innovative panoramic visual management platform for data centres, enabling managers across various industries to remotely enhance operational efficiency and site security.”
Key features of the new smart panoramic visual remote management solution:
- Utilises Cupola360’s panoramic visual management suite, which provides feedback on real-time environment conditions and security management.
- Features Schneider Electric’s expandable environmental monitoring system which Supreme Electronics represent.
- Uses Millitronic’s AI Web Gateway.
- Intuitive visual management with first-person perceptive and remote dashboards.
- Improved efficiency levels of remote data centre management.
- Provides real-time insights and automated situation awareness to limit the potential of defects.
“Millitronic's AI Web Gateway enables rapid deployment of Schneider Electric and other management solutions, significantly reducing the time and steps required for system integration,” said Alex Lin, CEO of Millitronic. “Combined with the Cupola360 panoramic visual platform, it provides customers with an innovative data centre remote visualisation management model.”
The solution has already been implemented at Innodisk’s (the parent company of Millitronic) research and manufacturing centre in Yilan.
