General Inspection
General Inspection's VisionLab-150 3D measuring system.
General Inspection has announced that a Kansas-based precision aerospace fasteners manufacturer has adopted one of its VisionLab-150 3D measuring systems. The solution works by measuring the full product range (up to 150mm length and 50mm diameter) to streamline any inspection processes whilst also improving quality assurance levels and enhancing dimensional data reporting.
The Kansas-based company opted to purchase a selection of options alongside General Inspection’s patented 3D gauging technology. Said system comes with Surface-View for 360⁰ visual defect detection, End-View to inspect head markings and measure broach features, and the Upper Tooling/Bit Kit that measures recess depth and concentricity.
Key benefits of the VisionLab system:
- Provides versatile, accurate, and fast inspection processes.
- Designed to handle a wide range of applications.
- Improves time-saving and traceability capabilities.
- Removes the risk of human-related errors.
- Creates customised, detailed reports featuring graphs and data charts which can be saved in CSV or Excel formats.
