Additive Industries partners Additive Assurance
Additive Industries has announced its partnership with Additive Assurance. The duo will work together to enhance in-situ process monitoring with Additive Industries’ MetalFab laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) products. Leveraging both companies’ strengths, the overall aim of the collaboration is to improve the process monitoring of additively manufactured parts in high-performance applications.
“Our partnership with Additive Assurance aligns perfectly with our commitment to advancing the capabilities of metal additive manufacturing,” said Mark Massey, CEO at Additive Industries. “By integrating AMiRIS with our MetalFab portfolio, including our new MetalFab 300 Flex, we're enhancing real-time quality assurance, offering our customers greater flexibility, and setting new standards in production consistency and reliability.”
Marten Jurg, CEO of Additive Assurance, added, “We are delighted to be working with Additive Industries to add value to their customers’ experience and to push the boundaries of what is possible with L-PBF AM.”

About Additive Assurance
Additive Assurance's AMiRIS solution provides users with the ability to inspect quality levels during production. With the aim of speeding up the quality validation process, the solution aims to facilitate higher yields and production consistency of L-PBF manufactured parts.
AMiRIS is an ideal extension to the MetalFab series, as it can help address quality assurance issues with in-situ monitoring. The solution does this by empowering manufacturers to detect and address quality problems during production. With real-time feedback on the build process, AMiRIS can not only improve quality but also reduce production cycles and enhance people's confidence in the final product.
